Preparing for a Reiki session
Avoid stimulants and alcohol 24 hours before.
Choose a quiet, comfortable space.
Stay hydrated with water throughout the day.
Set a relaxing atmosphere with dim lighting, soft music, or aromatherapy.
Dress in loose, comfortable clothing.
Communicate goals with your practitioner.
Silence electronic devices to minimize distractions.
Practice mindfulness or meditation to center yourself.
Set a positive intention for healing.
Approach the session with openness and receptivity.
Allow time for rest and integration post-session.
Proper preparation enhances your Reiki experience, fostering optimal healing and relaxation.
Reiki after care
Set your intention for the following days after receiving Reiki.
Avoid alcohol and drinks containing caffeine such as coffee, cola, energy drinks for 2-3 days after.
Drink plenty of water.
Eat high vibration foods and limit processed foods.
Take a relaxing salt bath.
Allow yourself a good rest.
Don't make any big plans. Allow your DNA to integrate.
Take a shower and allow cold water to flow over your crown chakra for at least 30 seconds to cleanse any fragments of negative energy floating in your auric and etheric field.
